Systemic Counselling and Psychotherapy

Welcome! I hope this page gives you an insight into my work. If you would like any more information or have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

As a systemic counsellor and psychotherapist, I specialise in individual, couples and family therapy. I believe in a collaborative, resource oriented approach to managing life's difficulties. The systemic approach means that people are considered within their frame of reference, i.e. their family, work environment, social group etc.

Most of my clients are going through a personal crisis, are looking for change or guidance at a difficult time. Together, we discover and utilise each person's individual resources and strengths in order to take the next step on the path ahead.

Topics for counselling include:
  • Personal crisis
  • Communication
  • Separation and loss
  • Relationship problems
  • Support for families in crisis
  • Professional guidance
  • Dealing with different cultural backgrounds
  • Sexuality
  • Dealing with anxiety, depression, stress
  • etc.

About me

I've spent more than a decade in the UK, studying psychology and working as a counsellor. In 2011, I returned to Germany where I've been offering psychological counselling to individuals, couples and families. From 2014 to 2017, I trained at ISYS (Institute for Systemic Supervision) and became a systemic therapist. Since 2018, I have been working at ISYS training future systemic therapists.

I live with my husband and our children in Regensburg.

Counselling takes place at Friedrich-Viehbacher-Allee 7, 93055 Regensburg. Sessions cost €120 for 90 minutes. Systemic therapy is not covered by health insurances. Reduced rates are available in special circumstances. I offer counselling in English and German.
